I believe that the cosmic 2000 is just that watch. From its beauty to its ruggedness, from the accurate movement to the 60 meter resistance to water, this watch will out perform others easily. I just received my first omega last week. It is the cosmic 2000, 1020 movement. I have had it restored, I can show you the before and after pictures . New to the Forum and this is my first post. I am restoring a Seamaster Cosmic 2000 Ref 166.133 Calibre 1022. All is going very well and I have managed to save and restore almost all parts but cannot work out what is used to join the outer case to the inner case. When I received it, it was loose and all that remained was a kind of wire gasket in .

Hi, My father gave me a non running omega. After a good service, it's now working fine and I would like to put a leather strap on it. 1. How do I remove the bracelet? They have a good size and and a little bit of the 1970's vibe 😀. Not all watchmakers like these cases with their inner and outer case and "press in" front and back in gaskets.
